Max Appeal has secured 35 guaranteed charity places for next years Great North Run, to be held on Sunday 11th September. To secure your place email paul@maxappeal.org.uk for an entry form.
Max Appeal STILL has 20 places available for the Great North Run. It's one of our biggest annual fundraisers! We need to fill the places in the next 2 weeks or we will lose the places.
Please ask any friends or family if they will consider taking part and email paul@maxappeal.org.uk, asap.
Max Appeal will provide a free running vest and fundraising pack, pre and post race meet up opportunities and support.
It's a fun weekend too for a good cause and will help us continue our work supporting families affected by 22q11.

· The event follows the Capital Ring footpath, bringing an ultra-running adventure to the London’s doorstep
· The event has two distances, the shorter 27.5k distance and the 55k ultra distance event
· LONDON 27.5 starting in Crystal Palace, the route takes participants through South West London & past locations such as Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park and finishing in Richmond upon Thames
· ULTRA LONDON 55 is the entire South section of the Capital Ring, starting at Woolwich Foot Tunnel (East London) and crossing nine beautiful London Boroughs before the finish line in Richmond upon Thames (West London)
· The event is accessible and open to all, from seasoned ultra-runners, walkers seeking a challenge, or first timers looking to push their limits
· The fully waymarked route follows the Capital Ring, a relatively unknown but spectacular 78-mile public footpath around London on a mix of hidden trails, footpaths, parks, disused railway lines and woodland

ULTRA LONDON returns on Saturday 31 July 2021, bringing an ultra-running adventure to the capital’s doorstep. The fully waymarked event follows the Capital Ring, a relatively unknown but spectacular 78-mile footpath around London.
Participants are challenged to complete the shorter 27.5k distance or the 55k ultra distance event. With two distances and generous cut off times, the event is accessible to all, whether seasoned ultra-runners, walkers seeking a challenge, or first timers looking to push their limits.
LONDON 27.5 is designed to be a perfect challenge for half marathon runners looking to take the next step and embark on a new off-road experience. ULTRA LONDON 55 takes competitors along the entire southern section of the Capital Ring, crossing through nine beautiful London Boroughs before crossing the finish line in Richmond upon Thames.
The surprisingly green and picturesque route promises participants a chance to explore London’s iconic scenery on a mix of hidden trails, footpaths, parks, disused railway lines and woodland around the capital. Participants will experience stunning views & historic landmarks throughout the multi-terrain route, and excellent transport links ensure friends and family can support throughout the event and celebrate at the finish line.

With mass events looking unlikely in the first half of 2021, we’ve set a date for ‘Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk’ – the biggest and best ever Virtual fundraising event – taking place on the weekend of the 23rd – 25th April 2021. Following the latest positive news on COVID vaccinations, the Kiltwalk is planning to stage Scotland’s Kiltwalk 2021, the first LIVE Kiltwalk since the pandemic hit, later in 2021. This major event will reunite Kiltwalkers from all over Scotland and all funds raised for your charity will be topped up by 50%* thanks to Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation.
